Apr 15, 2019 What Is A Keyhole Garden? (Rogers County Building, 416 South Brady, Claremore, OK, from Apr 15, 2019 07:00 PM to Apr 15, 2019 09:00 PM)
First made popular in Africa, the keyhole garden is catching on in Texas and other hot, dry places. A keyhole garden holds moisture and nutrients due to an active compost pile placed in the center of a round bed. Although most helpful in hot and dry locations, a keyhole garden will improve growing conditions in just about any climate. Jim Long, a Tulsa Master Gardener, will share ideas for starting a keyhole garden on April 15th, 7:00 p.m. at the Rogers County Building. Sponsored by the Master Gardeners Association of Rogers County and OSU Extension/Rogers County
