4-H e-Update 10/27/17

It is a new 4-H year and there is a plethora of activities and opportunities for each and every 4-H member and Volunteer. The E-Update is the place to get information about county events as well important dates and deadlines.

Most Important

Get enrolled!  If you have not enrolled for 2017-2018 & payed the $20 fee, you are not an active 4-H member for the current year. If you are not sure if you have enrolled please double check! You are responsible for You. Enroll using 4-H Online

Volunteers: as meeting are being conducted have a sign in and we (Extension Office) can check to make sure all kids that sign in are active 4-H members.  We don’t want kids to be left out because they have not signed up.

Citizenship

  • A Noble Cause: Dale 4-H member, Kyleigh Merrick, was featured on OKC News Ch. 25 as the October winner of A Noble Cause award given by Attorney Noble McIntyre of McIntrye Law Firm. Kyleigh was recognized for her hard work promoting her Teal Pumpkin project to raise awareness of giving kids with food allergies a safe and happy Halloween. Watch the segment to learn more.
  • Amazon

Amazon will give .5 percent of your purchase to the Oklahoma 4-H Foundation. It works with all Amazon accounts and is easy to use. Simply go to www.smile.amazon.com and choose Oklahoma 4-H Foundation, Inc., as your nonprofit organization. This doesn’t cost customers anything extra, and with so many people shopping on Amazon already, this is a great way to get what you need and support 4-H at the same time.
