Pontotoc County OSU Extension

Volunteers are essential to the 4-H program.  Volunteers have been and will continue to be a valuable part of the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service and Oklahoma 4-H youth development programs.  These individuals dedicate many hours for the benefit of Pontotoc County youth.

Quarterly Volunteer Leadership Team Meetings
Organizational leaders attend this quarterly meeting at 12 noon or 5p at the OSU Extension Office,  but it is open to all 4-H volunteers who have an interest in learning more about the role of 4-H volunteers.

Adult And Teen Volunteer Training
Certified 4-H adult and teen volunteers are required to attend 4 volunteer trainings per year to maintain certification. One of those is the annual Working With Minors and Title 7 & 9 training that is available online or face-to-face training usually conducted the first Monday in November.
