2013 Young Entrepreneur Expo

Get a KICK out of Entrepreneurship!

The Young Entrepreneur Expo (YE2) is an event for young people under the age of 21 (and their parents) who already have a business or who are thinking about starting a business.  The cost to attend is just $15 for the whole family, and that includes a light dinner. 

Young entrepreneurs will have an opportunity to set up a booth at our event, much like what they would do at a craft show or trade show.  These booths will be evaluated by judges who will provide constructive feedback and award prizes. Participants each year tell us that this is their favorite part of YE2.

Our program for the evening will include an interactive business plan building activity with volunteer business professionals, a workshop by Amber Ritter (owner of Computer iGeeks) highlighting the best business apps for iPhone/iPad, and our featured speaker, Kyle Eastham.

Entrepreneur and Black Belt in Judo, Aikido, and Karate

Kyle Eastham will be the featured speaker at the 3rd Annual Young Entrepreneur Expo to be held at the Payne County Expo Center on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, 5-9pm.  Kyle's program will intermingle life lessons for young entrepreneurs with demonstrations of his Martial Arts skills. Young people are sure to get a KICK out of it!

Kyle Eastham is the founder and Executive Director of Bold Step, an organization that works with universities to reduce sexual assault among college women. Kyle has a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and is an adjunct professor in the OSU School of Entrepreneurship. Kyle has spoken all over the US on topics including self-defense, peak performance, motivation, and managing employees. Author of two books, Kyle lives in Stillwater with his wife Rebecca and their dog, Tucker. Kyle also teaches martial arts and enjoys singing in a local barbershop ensemble.
