Family & Consumer Sciences
Dea Rash is Payne County's Family and Consumer Sciences Educator.

Dea is involved in the following activities and teaches the following programs:
- Adviser for Oklahoma Home and Community Education Clubs in Payne County
- Teaches the state-mandated class, Co-Parenting for Resilience for divorcing parents with minor children
- Basic Hands-On Canning Workshop
- "Cooking Together is Fun" Youth Cooking School
- Salsa Canning Workshop
- PRIDE Customer Service Program
- OHCE educational programs (leader lessons) for local group lesson leaders (these are taught monthly)
- Tests Presto brand pressure canner lids for accuracy
- Works closely with 4-H Educator to plan & conduct FCS-related 4-H events and activities such as 4-H Food Show, 4-H Food Showdown, 4-H Dress Revue & Dress to Impress, public speaking events and record books
