4-H Information
4-H is an organization for all youth, ages nine to 19. It dedicates itself to the development of youth, encouraging them to recognize their strengths and weaknesses and to build a better self, community and world.
4-H was established by an act of Congress as the youth organization of the land-grant college system. The 4-H program in Oklahoma is conducted by Oklahoma State University and Langston University. The county 4-H program is under the immediate supervision of the Cooperative Extension Service educators. Local 4-H clubs are supervised by local volunteer leaders.
What does 4-H have to offer my child?
