OSU Extension Offers “Pruning” Workshop
When it comes to trees, do you know that not all branches are to be forever. OSU Extension is offering a “Pruning” workshop to give you tips on taking care of your trees. This workshop will be held on April 20th, 2017, Thursday, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Oklahoma County OSU Extension Conference Center, located at 2500 NE 63rd Street in Oklahoma City. There will be a $5.00 charge to attend.
“On young newly planted trees you want to keep all of the branches, because they are holding the leaves and the leaves are the gas pedal that makes that tree grow”, stated Ray Ridlen, Horticulture Educator for the Oklahoma County OSU Cooperative Extension Service.
If interested in attending, secure your spot by mailing registration fee of $5.00 each to OSU Extension Center, 2500 NE 63rd Street, OKC, OK 73111. Walk-ins are also welcome.
