OSU Extension Offers “Earth-Kind” School
Residents who are interested in learning how to design and manage a healthy landscape are invited to attend the “Landscape Design & Management School” offered by OSU Cooperative Extension. The school will be held on April 21, Friday, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and continued the next day, Saturday April 22nd, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. at the Oklahoma County OSU Extension Conference Center, located at 2500 NE 63rd Street in Oklahoma City. The fee to attend is $100, which admits 2 individuals per households, organization or business. Personalized landscape consultations are available by appointment on Sunday for donations of $75.
“We encourage anyone who wants to learn about designing and managing a chemical free maintenance free landscape at their home or business should attend this research based training experience”, stated Annie Napier, Horticulture Educator for the Oklahoma County OSU Cooperative Extension Service. “We are excited to partner with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and the Oklahoma City Utilities Department in providing this educational program”, stated Napier.
