4-H Hosts Chili Supper and Auction Nov. 9
Who said a good time has to cost big bucks?
Area residents who are looking for a delicious, and economical, meal are invited to attend the Oklahoma County 4-H 7th Annual Chili and Bean Supper Monday, November 9, at the OSU Cooperative Extension Service Auditorium.
In addition to the all-you-can-eat chili and bean supper (with all the fixings), diners will be treated to a silent auction that begins at 6 p.m., followed by a live auction at 7 p.m.
Tickets for adults are only $3, while youth six to twelve years of age pay only $2 and children five and under eat for free.
All proceeds for the dinner and auction go to benefit the Oklahoma County 4-H program.
At both the silent and the live auction, diners will be able to bid on such items as antique dolls, Oklahoma Native art, power tools, a custom cow hide bench, lawn décor, jewelry and gift certificates to area restaurants and merchants.
Area merchants have donated the items to 4-H, which will in turn be auctioned off to participants. All of the proceeds from the supper and the auction go to support the Oklahoma County 4-H program.
Tickets for the Chili Supper can be purchased at the door. The supper is scheduled to get underway at 6:15 p.m.
The Oklahoma County OSU Extension Center is located at 930 N. Portland in Oklahoma City. For more information about the 4-H Chili Supper, contact the 4-H Department at 713-1125.
