Kingfisher County Junior Livestock Show

The County Stock Show will be Feb 15-17.  All market wethers, ewe lambs, market goats (wethers and does) and steers are required to be nominated for the OK Youth Expo in order to be eligible to show at Kingfisher County 4-H Junior Livestock Show.  Swine must either be OK Youth Expo nominated or have pseudo rabies papers dated by Dec 13, 2013. 

Some rules to remember:

· No fitters allowed to work on animals at the show.

· Minimum weight for hogs lowered to 160 lbs.

· A substitute showman must be an exhibitor of that species to be eligible to show for showmanship.

· Substitute showmen must be an exhibitor at the Livestock Show.

· Animals in the showmanship class must be an entry.

· Bidders feed fee is $35.

SATURDAY - FEB. 15, 2014

1:00 P.M. – All animals in place

1:00 P.M. – Weigh in of Swine, Sheep, and Goats. Beef weigh in after Goat weigh in.

SUNDAY - FEB. 16, 2014

2:00 P.M. - Judging of Goat Division 

 
5:00 P.M. – Judging of Beef Division       

MONDAY - FEB. 17, 2014

8:00 A.M. – Judging of Swine Division  

 
3:00 P.M. - Judging of Sheep Division            

MONDAY, FEB. 24, 2014

5:30 P.M. - Bidders Feed Kingfisher County Fairgrounds Exhibit Bldg.

6:30 P.M. - Premium Auction   Exhibit Building

Each species will be released at the conclusion of each species show.
