National 4-H Week county activities!

Next week is National 4-H Week! Are you ready to show off your green and white clovers?! This year’s theme is "Inspiring Kids to Do". Listed below are the activities to help celebrate the week along with attachments. Check them out below!

 Canned Food Drive:

Needed are donations of canned and nonperishable food items. All food collected will be split between all of the local food pantries in our county. Please being all food to the Extension Office by 4pm October 11th.  This is a great way to help the local community and Inspire kids to do!

 Social Media:

We want everyone to see how amazing your county 4-H is, so please share your 4-H story on your social medial platforms. I will be sharing your posts on our County 4-H page along with featuring 4-H members who have gone above and beyond with their citizenship projects. Let’s turn social media green!

 4-H Club Newspaper Display:

4-H Club Articles in the Local Newspaper: Each club should have their Reporter write a short article about their club and how they are Inspiring Kids To Do. This is a great way to publicize your club and your county 4-H in general. Don't forget to grab a newspaper and see what your club Reporter has written!

Dress in 4-H Swag:

During the whole week, make sure to dress in your 4-H gear! Send me pictures of you wearing your 4-H swag for a chance to be featured on the County 4-H Facebook  page! The youth member that shows their 4-H swag the most throughout the week will win a special prize!
