Join us on Tuesday, June 23rd at 6:00pm at the Kiamichi Tech Center in Stigler. Topics will include: History of Red Imported Fire Ants (RIFA), RIFA Identification, Quarantine Regulations, Control Strategies, Oklahoma Involvement with USDA Biological Research, and a Field Demonstration of mound ID and treatment options. The OSU Fire Ant Specialist, Wayne Smith, will be present to answer questions and get everyone prepared for what lies ahead. Refreshments will be offered and we will be drawing door prizes, donated by Stigler Milling Co. Look for flyers around the county!
