Check and Balance Class set for February 9th

CHICKASHA, Okla. – Are you having a tough time making financial ends meet each month?  Would you like to know how to build a financial spending plan and save money from every day expenses?  The Grady County Extension Office is offering a financial management seminar entitled “Check and Balance” to help individuals learn basic financial management practices.

 The seminar is scheduled for Friday, February 9th, beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the Grady County Extension Office Conference Room.  Registration is currently being accepted by submitting a $30 registration fee to the Grady County Extension Office at 828 W. Choctaw in Chickasha. 

Check and Balance is designed to benefit families and individuals by teaching basic financial management practices.  The program teaches establishing financial goals, tracking expenses, steps to build savings, banking services, along with balancing checking accounts.  The four-hour class features interactive lessons, classroom lectures, and guest speakers. 

 The program is a cooperative effort between District Attorney Jason Hicks and the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service in Grady, Caddo, Jefferson and Stephens Counties.
