Turfgrass Research

The Oklahoma State University Turfgrass Research and Development Team has developed drought-tolerant, water-conserving and winter-hardy Bermuda grass cultivars, which coupled with management practices could save Oklahomans an average of $150 in annual water costs and conserve resources.
If just 5% of the 1.2 million people living in urban Oklahoma adopted these techniques, citizens could save $9 million dollars in water costs per year!
