Cupcake Wars- October 13, 2018

This contest gives you a chance to show off your baking and cake decorating skills. Participants will bring own cupcakes and decorating supplies. At contest each person will be required to make a selection from the provided pantry to add to their cupcake design. Cupcakes are decorated at the contest.

Poster Contest- due to OSU Extension Office by October 5th

4-H Promotional Poster using 4-H fair guide classes. Poster are brought to Extension Office for judging and are displayed at the mall during the Mall Day event. Youth are encouraged to share the end of October in their community.

County Technology and Science Contest January 2019

Opportunity for youth to prepare exhibits that include printed computer documents, Power Point presentations, digital media, GIS exhibits, simple machines and Science Discovery Projects. Exhibits are due on or before January 14th, 5 pm at the OSU Extension Office for pre judging. Final conference judging will be on January 21 during the corresponding PowerPoint and Reading with Children Presentation event to be held at the OSU Extension Office

Contest includes items from fair guide under Expressive Arts; Hobbies/Textile Design and Construction; Scrapbooking; Wood Science; and Metalwork. "How's It Done" Demonstration Contest - February, 25 2019

Opportunity for both 4-H members and Cloverbuds. Cloverbuds will receive certificates. 4-H members will be presenting demonstration that show "how to", when demonstration is complete participant has a finished product. This can be crafts, food, metal creations, woodworking, clothing etc. Remember some limitations must be made such as welding or using large power tools. Call by February 18 to sign up

Table Setting Event - April 6, 2019 Registration due March 21, 2019

Junior members will plan a table setting for one person using a set menu. Senior members will plan a table setting using their own menu. Each will plan and prepare a dessert to complement the menu. Judge will interview each member about their presentation.

Job Readiness - February 25, 2019- Resume due on February 18, 2019

Job Readiness is an individual event that recognizes members who communicate a personal understanding and ability to perform specific job requirements. Members will submit a prepare resume due to the office on February 18, 2019. Members will complete an application on the computer, participate in a job interview and be asked to write a follow up letter immediately after the interview on February 25th.
