Private Pesticide Applicator Training

Private Pesticide Applicator’s license will expire at the end of 2018. According to the Department of Agriculture, Food & Forestry, “Private Applicators are any person who uses or supervises the use of any restricted use pesticide for the purposes of producing any agriculture commodity on property owned or rented by the person or his employer or on the property of another person’s (if applied without compensation other than trading of agricultural commodities or person services between producers). Private applicators are farmers, rancher, growers, etc. Beaver County OSU Extension Service will be offering Private Applicator Workshop for new and expiring licenses at the Beaver Extension Conference Room, Tues, Jan 15th, 3:30pm. A test packet fee of $25.00 will be payable to the Beaver County OSU Extension Office. (FYI, a permit fee of $20.00 payable to and sent with test packet to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture). Please be prepared to pay the $25 fee at the workshop. Please RSVP by January 4th to ensure enough packets are available. Please call the Beaver County OSU Extension Center at 580-625-3464.
