Balko Hard Red Winter Wheat Variety Trial for 2009
Twenty-seven varieties were planted on Kenton Patzkowsky's farm on US Highway 412. Plot is on the southeast corner of the intersection on county roads EW 27 and NS 130. One will need to turn south on the county road NS 130 to visualize the plot. The plot was planted no-till with 50 lbs/A of 10-34-0 in seed furrow at a 60 lbs/A seeding rate. Each of the varieties are randomly replicated four times in the plot to minimize field variance.
