4-H Fashion Revue

Level 1 (Grades 3-4), Level 2 (Grades 5-6), Level 3 (Grades 7-8) and Level 4 (Grades 9-12). 4-H members construct sewn items to be judged on construction prior to contest and during the modeling portion of the contest. Each grade division of 4-H work has specific items and sewing techniques. Guidelines for these items and sewing techniques are available below under 2019 Fashion Revue Guidelines. The purpose of the contest is to have the opportunity to judge the construction skills of the 4-H member. Fit, color, selection, and texture are also considered of the modeled garment. Date for the contest is determined at the annual calendar planning meeting in July or August. 4-H members may enter garments listed for their grade division. No garment can be entered by the 4-H member that was not constructed by that 4-H member. First, second, & third is determined on each article of clothing within each class of each grade division. All classes will receive a blue, red or white ribbon. There will be an overall Champion and Reserve Champion in the of the Levels (1, 2, 3 & 4). Recycled Denim classes will not be considered for Champion and Reserve Champion.
